Jazzy Jambalaya Storytime invites listeners to experience the many different flavors of jazz with this interactive storytelling program that embraces and enriches the diverse cultural community of Washington Heights. Each month focuses on a different instrument and highlights the music of a well known jazz musician. When combined, storytelling and music create a powerful platform that fosters imagination, empathy and understanding of different generations and cultures. Young listeners create emotional connections as they joyfully sing, swing, jiggle, jump, and listen.
